Agro Pontino (Sabaudia area) has become a land of Sikhs and workers coming mostly from northern India, next to the borders of Pakistan.
In Sabaudia, where I have taken these pictures, every Sunday the Gurdwara (temple) is filled with men, women and children praying, eating together and bringing offerings.
Sikhs are very hospitable and open, and they make a great Punjabi tea that I couldn’t stop drinking the entire day.
