My practical and theoretical research focuses on the representation of the Mediterranean sea surface as a hybrid space where form and content transform and interact generating areas of contact, separation, interrelation and juxtaposition. Through an interdisciplinary approach, focused on a methodology of theory and practice, I consider photography as an artistic and perceptual experience where research, its methodology and the possibility of its theoretical development are placed. Photographic image, free from its mere aesthetic experience, becomes an open, stratified, transforming surface conveying the space of the process itself and providing an embodied experience.
